LSF is a London based independent film company/mini studio established with a fresh perspective on production in a new era. Formed by Marcus Warren the principal of Contraption Media which produced and released it’s first feature film, The Heavy in 2010, distributed in the UK, US and Canada by Lionsgate. The Heavy attracted considerable attention for its scale of production, world class cast and garnered the film makers a reputation for an intrepid commitment to entertaining commercial cinema in the British independent film landscape.
LSF continues to be a maverick creative force behind British and international films that derive their success from the highest standards of production. It is the goal and intention of LSF to create and grow without limits, developing a slate of commercial films under its banner, exercising a strategic and flexible approach suited for the current state of the ever-evolving film industry. LSF is a hybrid company embracing new content and distribution models, prepared to take a cutting edge approach in contributing to meaningful cinema and television.

This working attitude has encouraged the company to take on several projects for development and production. The company principles are becoming known for its ability to develop, finance and produce at exceedingly high standards, to compete in an international market place.
With a focus on producing film and television content in locations with the most advantages Tax initiatives and incentives LSF is capable making films that minimise financial exposure.
LSF has been reconstituted for the purpose of raising funds for the development, production and distribution of a minimum annual slate of the films and television included on the Slate described within.
LSF will secure distribution for mainstream commercial films that the LSF team believe offer the potential of commercial success in the UK, US with keeping an international market as a key its focus.
These films will be developed for production primarily in the UK, but with an agile ability to produce in regions that offer comparable incentives and offer a strong international appeal.
LSF therefore intends to produce up to three films (with a minimum of one) on the Slate described, on an annual basis, while simultaneously having 1 - 2 series in ongoing production.
Using funds received pursuant to the period of initial fund raising, these films, series and related content will be produced by LSF utilising the wide pool of filmmaking talent that exists within LSF team and wider associations in the production community.
The Company Principles, in conjunction with the Company team, will decide which films will be undertaken of the proposed slate.

- Full post-production supervision: LSF can provide the most advantageous, production friendly post deals available in the UK with an award winning team of post production professionals; editors and post-production supervisors to oversee the full post process from offline to delivery at the highest standards and ensure the project's creative vision is realized.
